Lt is recommended to let the expansion joints work in compression rather than stretching. That is why no sealing gasket is required.<br \/>\n\u6a61\u80f6\u63a5\u5934\u7684\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4fdd\u8bc1\u4e86\u5bf9\u6cd5\u5170\u7684\u5bc6\u5c01\uff0c\u8fd9\u5c31\u662f\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u4e0d\u9700\u8981\u5bc6\u5c01\u57ab\u5708\u7684\u539f\u56e0\u3002<br \/>\nNote:If the bolts and nuts are tightened too strongly, the sealing face might be crushed causing function!<br \/>\n\u6ce8\u610f\uff1a\u5982\u679c\u87ba\u6813\u548c\u87ba\u6bcd\u62e7\u7d27\u8fc7\u5927\uff0c\u5bc6\u5c01\u9762\u53ef\u80fd\u88ab\u538b\u788e\u5bfc\u81f4\u6f0f\u6c34\uff01<\/p>\n<p>Counter flanges<br \/>\n\u53cd\u6cd5\u5170<br \/>\nIt is very important for the safe operating and life expectancy of the expansion joint to make a proper installation of the counter flanges(Fig. 2 to 5).
